Learn how to plan and execute an audit of an ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) with GRC Audit (Exam Provider, Accredited Exam Center, Accredited Training Organization). With the growth and global acceptance of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 as the default standard for information security management, there has been an increased demand for qualified ISO27001 lead auditors.

At GRC Audit we recognise that gaining the knowledge and qualifications required to conduct an ISO27001 audit is essential for the successful career development of all ISO27001 lead auditors. A practical working knowledge of the lead audit process is also a crucial requirement for the manager responsible for implementing and maintaining ISO27001 compliance within an organisation.

The course will make extensive use of group exercises and case studies throughout the 5-day training course , providing attendees with a proper foundation in the practical aspects of auditing conformance with IS027001. 

Please note exams can be taken after a training or independently of a training. Training is not a prerequisite to take an IBITGQ exam and become IBITGQ certified and GRC Audit an option to take the exam without prior training.

 Please note: all classroom-based courses are run on working days only unless otherwise stated during Monday - Friday.

Our easy to use Virtual platform allows you to sit the course from home with a live instructor. You will follow the same schedule as the classroom course, and will be able to interact with the trainer and other delegates. 

Courses are delivered at our dedicated training facilities, as an MS Teams Online sessions at fixed times and on fixed dates throughout the year. Delegates are expected to have a reliable Internet connection at their home or office. We will check and confirm that you have the MS Teams application installed, and that you can correctly log onto our MS Teams training session before the course. You will receive an MS Teams invitation upon booking confirmation.

To enable you to sit the online exam you will need:

• Latest internet browsers i.e., Microsoft edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox.
• Internet access for the full time of the exam.
• To deactivate the pop-up blocker.
• A working webcam on the machine you are sitting your exam from.

Virtual classes are often delivered during afternoon and evenings to suit an international audience - please check timings with us if not clear. 

ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Exam

At the end of this 5-day training course, delegates will be required to sit an exam. This exam is included with the course fee, and is formatted like so:

• Multiple choice questions
• Duration of 90 minutes
• 75% pass mark
• Closed book
• Supervised

Where exams are taken online (either remotely or by computer in the classroom), provisional exam results will be available immediately on completion of the exam. Confirmed exam results will be issued within 10 working days from the date of the exam.

Where exams are done in paper form, we aim to make confirmed exam results available within 10 working days from the date of the exam.

For both online and paper exams, certificates for those who have achieved a passing grade will be issued within 10 working days from the date of the exam.

Results notifications and certificates are sent directly to candidates by the relevant exam board in electronic format; please note that hard copy exam certificates are not issued.
